SLOUGH, UNITED KINGDOM – July 23, 2012: Hot music act Cover Drive have turned their attention to Citroën’s DS3. The stylish and distinctive supermini features in the music video for their new single ‘Explode’, the fourth release taken from the band’s debut album ‘Bajan Style’. The single officially goes on sale on 8 September.

Directed by Marcus Lundin, the video follows the four Cover Drive members - Amanda Reifer, T-Ray Armstrong, Barry ‘Bar-Man’ Hill and Jamar Harding - from a city rooftop where their Citroën DS3 is parked, to an underground nightclub where they compete and triumph in a Battle of the Bands competition. The video also features a musical appearance by Dappy from N-Dubz, who Cover Drive supported on his solo Rock Star Tour.

Originally from Barbados, Cover Drive is a four-piece band with a style that they define as ‘Carib-pop.’ Their celebrity fans include Jessie J, Emeli Sandé, Ed Sheeran, The Wanted and fellow Bajan, Rihanna - who invited Cover Drive to support on her Loud Tour in 2011.

Citroën fans can see an exclusive behind-the-scenes film, which shows the making of the music video. To see the film, head to Citroën UK’s official Facebook page, www.facebook.com/citroenuk
