Sebastian Saavedra, Team AFS Racing / Andretti Autosport, No. 27

Saavedra finished second on the podium in Toronto, which puts him third in the Firestone Indy Lights championship points standings. This will be his third time racing at Edmonton with Firestone Indy Lights, where he has finished as high as third in 2009.

"We're coming off a very good race in Toronto and we feel confident in our street course cars. At this point in the championship a win is needed and there's no better place to pull it of than (Edmonton). We've been unlucky in some races this season, but the championship battle is still on and closer than ever. No mistakes are acceptable and we are putting the pressure on the leader. Looking forward to a great weekend for the AFS team."

Carlos Muņoz, Team Dialy-Ser, No. 26

This will be Munoz's first time racing at Edmonton. After finishing 10th in Toronto, he remains sixth in the championship points standings.

"This will be my first time in Edmonton, so the first practice session we have will be important in order to learn the circuit. I think that it will be a fun place to race based off if the videos I have watched so far. I hope to get a good result after having so many mistakes in Edmonton. I know that my Andretti Autosport team will give me a fast car, so we'll focus hard to stay at the top."
