Chrysler Group of Brands Record Strongest Sales Ever in June

SYDNEY – July 5, 2012: The Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brands have recorded their strongest sales result this month ever, retailing 1,738 cars in June - up 68.90 per cent on June 2011.

Clyde Campbell, managing director of the Fiat Chrysler Group, is thrilled with the results.

“The June sales results for Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge are the highest ever for the three brands in a one month period – our best month ever,“ Campbell said.

The Jeep brand was the strongest performer in June, up 83.3 per cent on June 2011, with Grand Cherokee retailing 750, Compass 251, Wrangler 202, Cherokee 109 and Patriot 200 vehicles.

June was the best month of sales ever for Grand Cherokee.

The results confirm the July 2011 to June 2012 period as the strongest twelve month period of sales in the history of the Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brands, generating a total of 16,237 sales, a substantial 6,242 in front of the July 2010 to June 2011 period.
