BOTANY, AUSTRALIA – July 2, 2012: Audi Australia has announced it will pass on the full $500 retail price concession given by the Australian government’s adjustment of the LCT threshold as of July 1, 2012.

All Audi models applicable to the new $59,133 threshold will be eligible for the $500 concession.

Audi Australia’s Managing Director Uwe Hagen said: “The increase to the Luxury Car Tax threshold is good news for luxury car buyers in Australia, and therefore Audi is passing on the savings directly to our customers. We believe it’s important that our customers receive the full benefit of the LCT threshold change.”

The LCT threshold for fuel efficient vehicles (using 7.0 litres per 100km or less) remains at $75,375.
