Motorsports Brands - Roush-Yates Engines Light Up The Weekend

Mooresville, NC (June 18, 2012) Roush Yates engines fired up around the country this weekend powering drivers to Victory Lane on dirt and asphalt. In all, eight wins were recorded by seven different drivers in six different series. All racers were running a Ford or Chevrolet configuration of Roush Yates' high performance engines and parts.

Marcos Ambrose, driver of the No. 9 Stanley car for Richard Petty Motorsports, scored his first career NASCAR Sprint Cup pole position on Saturday at Michigan International Raceway with the fastest speed of any driver in the sport in 25 years. Ambrose will go down in history as the new track record holder and officially the fastest man in NASCAR using his Roush Yates FR9 Ford engine.
