Johnson Controls named 2012 Chrysler Supplier of the Year for Diversity Supplier Development

Automotive supplier recognized for its top-performing efforts
PLYMOUTH, MI--June 15, 2012: Johnson Controls, a global leader in automotive seating, interiors and electronics, has been honored by Chrysler Group LLC with its 2012 Supplier of the Year Award in the Diversity Supplier Development category. Top-performing suppliers were recognized during Chrysler's Annual Meeting and Supplier Awards Ceremony in Detroit.
Award recipients were determined based on an evaluation of their performance in 2011. This Chrylser rating system evaluates supplier performance in areas such as quality, delivery, cost, warranty and partnership, as well as input from Chrysler Group senior leadership.
"It's an honor to be recognized by the Chrysler Group as the Supplier of the Year in the Diversity Supplier Development category," said Jeff Williams, group vice president and general manager Customer Group Americas at Johnson Controls Automotive Experience. "We are committed to fostering a diverse supply base and working collaboratively to meet our customers' needs."
