Holden Equips Colorado with Tough New Accesories Range

SYDNEY – June 13, 2012: Holden has launched an extensive range of Genuine Holden Accessories for the all-new Colorado Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV).
More than two thirds of Colorado’s accessories are unique to Holden, and have been designed, developed and engineered in Australia by Holden to meet the needs of the local market.
Colorado owners will be able to personalise their vehicle with more than 38 individual accessories, or choose from four Genuine Holden Accessory packs available from Holden dealers.
The Colorado accessories line-up includes a snorkel for the 2.8 litre diesel range, steel bull bar*, body-coloured hard tonneau covers, alloy sports bar and nudge bar, steel and aluminium trays and canopy with unique glass areas.
Popular items like the new fully-integrated tow bar kit supports Colorado’s class-leading 3.5 tonne towing capacity on the 2.8 litre range.
Holden Accessories Engineer, Keegan Brown said intensive development and rigorous Holden testing ensured the accessories range met the highest levels of functionality, integration and safety.
“We’ve assembled this range to complement all of the hard-working attributes of the new generation Colorado,” Brown said.
“Every locally-designed accessory has been put through a rigorous testing process to ensure it has the longevity, durability and strength to withstand Australia’s toughest working conditions.
“Over the last 12 months, we’ve carried out numerous computer-aided, laboratory and on-road durability tests to simulate heavy duty use well beyond the average lifecycle of an LCV accessory.
“Colorado owners can be confident every accessory is engineered to be a fully-integrated part of their car and as tough and hard-wearing as the Colorado it’s fitted to.”
