Secretary Of State For Transport Visits EcoVelocity

LONDON – May 15, 2012: EcoVelocity, the green motor show was visited by Justine Greening, Secretary of State for Transport. During her visit she test drove the Vauxhall Ampera before taking a guided tour of the show with EcoVelocity organiser Giles Brown.

Justine Greening, Secretary of State for Transport commented: “EcoVelocity is a fantastic show and I think what you can start to see here are the electric and hybrid car and van models that increasing numbers of motorists will be driving very soon. The Vauxhall Ampera that I got to drive is one of the sorts of cars that have recently come to market and is absolutely fantastic – it’s a great drive, incredibly comfortable, and best of all entirely stress free. I think people should take the opportunity to come and see the new cars that are available now and in the future.”
