London, Apr. 27, 2012: Andy Green, supersonic driver, at Silverstone Wing dinner to answer questions

On 15 May, the magnificent, state-of-the-art Silverstone Wing opens its doors to the 'fastest man on earth', Andy Green, and Richard Noble, the visionary, engineering adventurer behind the Bloodhound SSC 1000mph project. Tickets for this event are selling fast, so make sure you book yours today.

The full-scale, 13.4-meter long Bloodhound jet and rocket car will be on display. Visitors can meet and question the man planning to drive four and a half football pitches in 1 second, and those who are building this stunning car.

Guests can also visit the Grand Prix winner's podium for a photo, and take a tour of Race Control and the Pit Wall, just weeks before the 2012 FORMULA 1 SANTANDER BRITISH GRAND PRIX.

Tickets - which include three-course dinner and a visit to the GP Winner's podium - cost just £80 plus VAT. . . and will raise funds for the Motorsport Foundation.

"Bloodhound is one of the most entertaining and challenging engineering challenges of today - a true adventure to capture the hearts of minds of British people, and inspire young and old. The MIA is proud to organise, with Silverstone, this evening of fun, information and amazement. Everyone will enjoy meeting real-life adventurers, so book now - and be rewarded by a memorable evening," said Chris Aylett, CEO of the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA).

Julia Schumacher, Business Partnership Manager from Northamptonshire Enterprise, one of the sponsors of the evening, said; "Northamptonshire is well known for its strengths within the engineering and high-performance technology industries. Richard Noble's Bloodhound SSC education programme will soon roll out in over 80 Northamptonshire schools, as part of a countywide programme to stimulate the interest of young people in STEM subjects (science, technology engineering and maths), inspiring them to become the engineers of tomorrow."
