Hertz CFO to be Honored

-- CFO Elyse Douglas to be Honored at CFO Magazine's 2012 Women in Finance Awards --

PARK RIDGE, NJ--April 12, 2012: Hertz CFO, Elyse Douglas, has been nominated for CFO magazine's Women in Finance Awards. The awards will be presented on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the first annual CFO Women in Finance Conference held at Capitale in New York City.

"We're pleased CFO magazine is honoring Elyse as she has been instrumental in moving the financial operations of Hertz forward," commented Mark P. Frissora, Hertz Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "Elyse has spearheaded the efficient financing of our business in an extremely difficult market environment, ensuring solid financial conditions of the Company. In addition, Elyse has been influential in numerous key acquisition initiatives, including the Donlen fleet management and Cinelease acquisitions."

Elyse has served as the Company's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since October, 2007. As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Douglas is responsible for all aspects of financial management encompassing treasury, tax, risk management, accounting, financial reporting, business planning, corporate development, and corporate policies and procedures. Prior to joining Hertz, Ms. Douglas served as Senior Vice President and Treasurer of COTY, Inc. the $4.5 billion cosmetics company. Prior to that, Ms. Douglas held senior treasury and finance positions at Nabisco, Inc and JP Morgan. Ms. Douglas earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Villanova University and an MBA in Finance from New York University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant and earned her (CFA) designation in 1997.

CFO magazine's first annual Women in Finance Awards will honor all of the women CFOs of the Fortune 500 and the Global 500 for their achievements in reaching the CFO seat at the world's largest companies -- an amazing success as there are only 65 women CFOs out of the entire group. The awards ceremony will take place from noon to 2:00 PM, preceded by a morning conference focusing on essential skills for succeeding in the C-suite and beyond, effective mentoring, and persuasive communications.
