DETROIT - March 27, 2012: Did you ever get behind the wheel a little sleepy and wish you could find a way to keep yourself awake while driving?
Well, now there is new technology available in some luxury automobiles that acts as a physical reminder as opposed to a sound reminder. It alerts you if you are about to veer out of a lane, a car is in your blind spot, or you are about to hit someone head-on. The safety alert seat uses vibrations to communicate direction of a crash threat and works very similar to somebody tapping on your shoulder.
