MULGRAVE, AUSTRALIA – Feb 16, 2012: BMW Australia today announced a 15% list price reduction on a range of high-demand Genuine BMW Parts, which it expects will result in lower servicing costs for BMW owners.

Effective immediately, the price decrease is applicable to Genuine BMW oil filters, microfilters, front and rear brake pads, and front and rear brake discs.

BMW Australia is confident that its authorised dealer network will pass this reduction on to customers making new Genuine BMW Parts even more competitive and making it easier for customers to maintain the integrity and quality of their vehicle.

General Manager for BMW Aftersales, Mr John Fairman said that through this price adjustment BMW Australia is taking measures to make it even more affordable for owners to use new Genuine BMW Parts in the servicing of their BMW.

“Customers should insist that their repairer use Genuine BMW Parts to maintain the integrity and safety of their vehicle,” said Mr Fairman.

Mr Fairman said that BMW Australia does not support use of parallel, alternative or aftermarket parts, and strongly recommends insurers and collision repairers to use only Genuine BMW parts.

“Using non-genuine, or parallel imported parts may compromise a vehicle’s factory warranty and simply isn’t worth the risk,” said Mr Fairman.

Designed to exacting standards, Genuine BMW Parts offer superior quality, a perfect fit every time, and the security of a two year factory warranty.
