Chrysler Group Dedicates New Training Facility in Warren, Mich.

What:
Chrysler Group LLC Senior Vice President of Manufacturing Scott Garberding and UAW Chrysler Department Vice President General Holiefield, along with Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel and Warren Mayor Jim Fouts, will officially dedicate the state-of-the-art World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Academy in Warren, Mich. Occupying about 25,000-square-feet of the UAW-Chrysler Technology Training Center, the Academy's mission is to transfer WCM "know-how" to more than 1,200 participants each year and cultivate an enriched culture of continuous improvement and learning. Participants spend 80 percent of their time at the Academy in laboratories designed to provide hands-on experiences.
