USAC Midgets - Roberts To Compete In USAC National Midget Championship With Corey Tucker/Bryan Clauson Racing

Levi has spent the past two years preparing himself for a shot at the USAC National Championship. Levi who is known for his skill on the pavement made a decision two years ago to dedicate himself to doing everything he could to prepare himself for a Championship run. Growing up around the go cart world the pavement came natural to Levi but with a lack of dirt experience Levi dedicated himself to learning the dirt aspect of USAC racing and transforming himself into a driver who can compete for a USAC Championship. A breakout performance during the 2011 USAC Midget week set the wheels in motion for a run at the 2012 National Championship.

Corey Tucker ~ I am looking forward to having Levi back in a CTR / BCR car for 2012. Over the last 2 years he has made vast improvements on the dirt and we all look forward to running for our 3rd championship in a row.

Tim Clauson ~ This is really a culmination and a testament to Levi and his work ethic to make himself into an all around racer. There are very few drivers who can be proficient on both the dirt and the pavement and Levi has elevated himself into that elite category. We have worked with Levi in the past as he learned the dirt aspect of the sport and after his performance at USAC Midget Week last year he showed he could run with anybody on any surface.

Bryan Clauson ~ I was introduced to Levi a few of years ago and got to see how good he was on the pavement rather intimately when he almost stole a win from me at Turkey Night in 2009. I became a fan of Levi when he came to me and expressed an interest in learning the dirt side of the sport in 2010. We were fortunate to get to help Levi make the transition and the thing that has always impressed me was how Levi took the time and showed the patience to learn how to run the dirt the right way and really in a rather short time became competitive and his performance at Midget Week showed me how far he had come in a very short time. When we decided to bring in a driver to compete for the Championship with our team Levi was really the first and only choice. When we started this program in 2008 it was with the idea to give a driver like Levi an opportunity to make a Championship run.

Levi Roberts ~ I'm excited and thankful to have the opportunity to be back with Corey Tucker / Bryan Clauson Racing full time in 2012. The CTR / BCR has a reputation of winning races and championships, and I hope to continue that this season. I love working with Big Al and AJ, Tim, And Corey and I think that our experience together in the past should give us a leg-up when the first race rolls around in March. This will be my first full season chasing USAC National Midget points, and I can’t wait to get started!
