MELBOURNE – Jan 6, 2012: Infiniti Cars Australia today announced two key additions to its Australian management team.

Peter Fadeyev has been appointed the company’s National Media and Public Relations Manager. Fadeyev arrives at the luxury marque after fulfilling the role of Product Communications Manager at Ford Australia. Prior to this he was Corporate Communications Manager at Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific.

Joining Fadeyev at Infiniti Cars Australia is Melonie Lowe, who has been appointed the company’s National Marketing and Sales Manager. Lowe was most recently Senior Manager for Events and Sponsorships at Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific. Her prior experience with companies such as Members Equity Bank and General Electric’s Consumer Finance division means she brings to Infiniti a formidable arsenal of marketing and sales expertise.

Both Fadeyev and Lowe will report directly to Kevin Snell, Infiniti Cars Australia’s General Manager.

Snell has spent two years researching and hand-picking his team, each of whom have been carefully selected for their knowledge and experience. His team boasts a variety of skills in business development, brand management and luxury retailing, many with extensive experience in the automotive sector.

“Adding Peter and Melonie to our national team will fortify what I believe is one of the best automotive sales and marketing organisations in Australia,” Snell said.

Their arrival coincides with a critical phase in Infiniti’s local market introduction plans.

“This is an exciting time for Infiniti in Australia,” he said.

“2012 will see the official Australian release of our exciting model range and the opening of our dedicated retail dealerships.

“Infiniti’s arrival this year will also see Australian drivers finally enjoy a genuine – and exciting – alternative to the traditional crop of luxury and sporting cars.”

Infiniti cars are scheduled to go on sale in Australia in the third quarter of this year.
