Women on Wheels is Rolling with Holden

SYDNEY – Nov 16, 2011: Holden and the Holden Dealer Network have joined forces with Women on Wheels to present a series of educational seminars in NSW.
These workshops are free and provide practical advice and helpful guidelines on car maintenance and safety. Holden Technicians will be on hand during each workshop, running five different ‘hands on’ stations.
Each station will demonstrate different procedures, such as changing tyres, maintaining correct tyre pressures, jump starting a car with a flat battery and teaching participants how to identify worn components such as brake pads and dirty air filters.
Discussions and questions are encouraged throughout the workshops, and the qualified Holden Technicians will cut through the technical jargon and explain everything in easy-to-understand terms so participants have a clear and confident understanding of car maintenance and the essentials of vehicle servicing.
And because Holden and Women on Wheels believe this service is important for all motorists, these seminars are open and completely free for all Holden and non-Holden owners.
The first NSW event was held in November and proved a huge success, with radio star Jacqui O attending the event to lend her support to this fantastic initiative.
All attendees of these workshops will be given a useful gift bag containing a first-aid kit and torch, as well as light refreshments provided at the end of the night.
Attendance is free but places are limited to a maximum of 50 participants per session so register early!
