FANUC Robotics Demonstrates Coordinated Motion with Constant Path Software

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI--FANUC Robotics America has released a new YouTube video featuring coordinated robot motion with its Constant Path software feature. The video showcases a FANUC M-10iA robot rotating a basketball while a FANUC ARC Mate 120iC/10L robot follows the lines of the basketball with a marble.

"Constant Path ensures coordination between multiple robots, simplifies teaching and reduces cycle time," said Jason Tsai, general manager of product development, FANUC Robotics. "This is a major benefit for manufacturers looking to respond quickly to their customer's needs to deliver quality products on time."

In the video, the robots work in coordinated motion and are able to resume the same path after the hold/emergency stop button is pressed. "In this unique demonstration using the basketball and the marble, it's obvious that the robots are able to maintain the same path, location and orientation regardless of static or dynamic speed override changes," added Tsai.
