RMI Announces Newest Member of Sales Staff for Class I Rail Sector

ATLANTA--October 28, 2011: RMI, the largest independent provider of Transportation Management Software and comprehensive information services to the railroad industry, today announced that Bart Romano has joined RMI as a Senior Sales Account Manager with a focus on meeting the commercial needs of Class I rail customers.

With deep domain expertise and more than 30 years of experience serving the rail industry, RMI is uniquely positioned to help Class I railroads leverage technology to streamline operations, increase productivity, and maximize profitability. Romano will work with RMI's Class I customers to identify business needs and build awareness across RMI's product lines including car hire management, intermodal terminal operating systems, signal and communication asset management, and revenue managed services.

Romano has over 20 years of experience in the transportation industry with a specialization in strategic account management and enterprise supply chain solutions. He holds a bachelor's degree in distribution and transportation management from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business.
