Electric Mobility Takes a Step Forward in Italy

AUTO CENTRAL – October 20, 2011: ENI, Italy’s leading energy company, and the Renault-Nissan Alliance have signed a memorandum of cooperation for electric mobility in Italy. This agreement makes provision for joint studies on electric vehicles, with particular emphasis on the role of service stations in charging activities, along with the joint development of market offerings, the “instant” charging system developed by Renault, and the business model promoting charging-related activities.

Through this agreement, the Renault Nissan Alliance and ENI Refining & Marketing confirm their role as pioneers in the development of innovative services and products for motorists, along with mobility solutions that respect the environment.
