National Safety Council Announces 2011 Rising Stars of Safety Honorees

ITASCA, IL--September 23, 2011: The National Safety Council has announced 40 honorees younger than 40 as its NSC Rising Stars of Safety Class of 2011. This program recognizes tomorrow's leaders for their commitment to safety, influence on safety culture and creation of safety initiatives producing measureable outcomes.

"We are excited to begin working with the NSC Rising Stars Class of 2011, along with last year's inaugural class, to share their unique perspectives and knowledge."

Honorees will be recognized at the 2011 NSC Congress & Expo -- the largest annual gathering of safety professionals -- in Philadelphia on Oct. 31-Nov. 4, among more than 10,000 of their safety peers.
