ZETLAND, AUSTRALIA - Sept 7, 2011: On 08 September, 2011, the doors of the brand new Audi Centre Shepparton will officially open.

The brand new facility - the result of a $1.5 million investment by business partners Stan Lambrinos, Dale Smith, Leigh Smith, Anthony Morabito and Jason Sherlock- strengthens Audi’s commitment to sales growth and a larger presence in regional Australia.

The Shepparton facility joins similar rural dealerships now open in Bendigo (20 October, 2010) and Ballarat (4 April, 2011) and brings the number of stand-alone Audi dealerships in Victoria to eight. The southern state also accounts for 30% of Audi’s national sales.

Built to the highest standards demanded by Audi’s global architectural design code, this sophisticated new showroom houses six new Audi vehicles and four Audi Approved Plus vehicles. The building is approximately 1490 sq. metres and the total land space is approximately 3200 sq. metres.

The state of the art after-sales facility is located onsite and features seven hoists for servicing new and pre-owned Audi vehicles. Built according to Audi’s design principles for ‘rural’ facilities, vehicles are visible throughout the servicing period for interested customers.

Audi Centre Shepparton will provide the opportunity for customers, existing and new, to experience the Audi Brand. Dealer Principal, Stan Lambrinos, a long-time resident of Shepparton, is confident that Audi is a desirable brand in the region for customers.

The official opening will also showcase the all new Audi A6 model. The A6 offers drivers progressive performance and premium quality.

Audi Australia’s Managing Director, Uwe Hagen, will officially open the building at 6.30pm on Thursday 8 September.
