FIRESTONE INDY LIGHTS

STEFAN WILSON, #5 TEAM ANDRETTI AUTOSPORT CAR

Finished the race in fifth place

"It was a long race. We thought we had a good car yesterday. Unfortunately we never got it back to where I liked it. The track changed and we weren't able to get the same characteristics from the car today. It was a hard way to end the road courses. We could have been a contender for the road course championship with a better result. Overall, it was disappointing but we'll regroup and go back to the ovals and hopefully have some good races there."

PETER DEMPSEY, #26 TEAM ANDRETTI AUTOSPORT CAR

Recorded a ninth place finish

"It was a tough day. We had a decent setup for the race. Going into turn one, I had nowhere to go and had to let a few behind me go by. I hit the curb in turn six and around I went. I just couldn't put it in reverse. Unfortunately I went a lap down, but we had some good speed and I tried to pass a few cars and put on a show. It was a tough day, but the team did a great job. I had hoped for a better result to finish out my season, especially with my sponsors here. I had a great time with Andretti Autosport and really enjoyed it here, so hopefully we can work something out to get back here next year."

STAR MAZDA CHAMPIONSHIP PRESENTED BY GOODYEAR

SAGE KARAM, #88 TEAM MAZDASPEED /COMFORT REVOLUTION CAR

Finished the race in second place

"It was a fairly good day. We had run only about 10 laps going into the race due to the delay on Friday and an accident yesterday. Unfortunately we didn't have all the information we wanted to go into the race. We had a shot at winning the race near the end but didn't take the risk, thinking we would have more time. Looking back I wish I would have taken the chance, but I wasn't expecting that last yellow. Andretti Autosport did a great job with the setup for the MAZDASPEED/Comfort Revolution car and we did the best with what we had. I'm really pleased with second after starting fifth. Hopefully we can keep this going and gain another spot at Laguna."

SPENCER PIGOT, #8 TEAM MAZDASPEED/ SKIP BARBER CAR

Recorded his third win of the season

"It was a good last race of the season. The Andretti Autosport guys did a great job getting my car back together after yesterday, and to come back and win the race was fantastic. Our first goal was to get through the first corner today. Once we did that, it was just a battle between the top three. The yellows were a disappointment because I had a good lead for a bit. It ended up being a one-lap shootout, but it ended better than in Road America. I had to concentrate on the restart and geta good jump, because I knew it was going to be close. We were able to hold them off for the win. I have to thank everyone who helped me this year: MAZDASPEED, Skip Barber and of course Andretti Autosport, along with all of my sponsors."

ZACH VEACH, #7 TEAM ZAKOSI DATA BACKUP CAR

Recorded a 10th place finish after retiring early due to damage

"This is not the season-end race we had hoped for. In the second race, we had a good run in fifth and were working on catching fourth-place strong. I made a mistake and hit the curb in the chicane, which ultimately damaged the left side of the car. From there, we just limped around the track until a bit after the halfway point when we had to come in to the pits. It's not what we were hoping for, but we have the Star Mazda race at Laguna in a few weeks to look forward to. From here, we can start working on plans for next year. Thanks to my team for all of their hard work this year and Zakosi Data Backup for their support."
