IBIL and the Renault-Nissan Alliance, Partners for the Electric Offer in Spain

AUTO CENTRAL – July 19, 2011: The Electric mobility operator, IBIL and the Renault-Nissan Alliance signed on 12th of July, a MOU aiming to promote the Electric Vehicles. IBIL will design, install and manage some charging points approved by the Alliance, in customer’s households and companies. 100 % of electricity supplied to the vehicles is provided by renewable energies, lowering their complete well to wheel CO2 emission to 0 g.

Today, IBIL is offering 120 charging spots open to the public in Basque Country and plan to extend this deployment to Spain. The operator is also working on fast charging points (full charge in less than one hour) and facilities for changing batteries in public places.
