SYDNEY – July 13, 2011: Multi-award winning motor vehicle company, Subaru Australia and the nation’s favourite snow resort, Perisher have reaffirmed their long term partnership again this year, with the vehicle brand remaining the resort’s exclusive car sponsor until at least 2013.
The deal, which initially began in 2007, will continue to build on Subaru’s overall aim to enhance its customers’ driving experience to and in the snow and will involve a range of cross-promotional activities, Subaru-sponsored events and digital initiatives for snow-goers over the next two years – and into the future.
The integrated season-long activities, which align closely with Subaru’s own ‘All 4 the Driver’ campaign, aim to engage visitors to the resort through numerous co-branding opportunities with Subaru providing the resort with vehicles for the duration of the partnership.
Together, Subaru and Perisher hope the sponsorship will also see more of Subaru’s customers heading to the slopes given the vehicles’ All-Wheel Drive capabilities, which make them perfect for keeping control in adverse weather conditions and doing away with the need for snow chains.
Subaru Australia is positive about continuing the sponsorship again this year as Andrew Caie, General Manager Marketing, explained: “Our customers have a passion for the outdoors, and our vehicles are the perfect way to get to the Australian snow fields, making our partnership with Perisher the perfect fit. This year will see us explore, together, even more ways to offer more value for new and existing Subaru customers.”
Neil Thew, Public Relations and Business Development Manager for Perisher added: “We’re extremely excited to be working with Subaru again this year. The brand has huge appeal to Perisher’s market. Reliability, comfort and style in the outdoors are attributes both our companies share. We look forward to continuing to work with Subaru over the coming years.”
Perisher has already enjoyed a bumper start to the season, which is set to continue all the way through to early October.
