Proton Organises Grand Prix VIP Challenge Global Online Contest

SYDNEY – July 13, 2011: Purchase or service a Proton car today, and stand a chance to win an all-expense paid trip for two to watch the Brazilian Grand Prix in Sao Paolo, Brazil from 25-27 November!
PROTON is also offering two units of iPad 2 plus 50 attractive prizes every month from 15 July 2011 to 15 October 2011 for its existing and potential customers worldwide who participate in its global online contest.
Called the “Grand Prix VIP Challenge”, the contest commemorates PROTON’s collaboration with the Lotus Renault Grand Prix (LRGP) team which is competing in the current season of the FIA Formula One World Championship. Iconic sports car manufacturer Lotus, which is wholly-owned by PROTON, is the title sponsor of the team.
Proton car owners as well as potential customers are merely required to visit www.proton.com.au, follow the link to the competition and answer five random questions in the fastest time about PROTON, Lotus or LRGP in order to become eligible to win the montly prizes. Those who test drive any Proton car meanwhile, will receive a scratch card which allows them to have better chances of winning the monthly prizes.
The contest is being run in 21 countries: Australia, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Indonesia, Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Turkey, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman, Mauritius, South Africa, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal.
