Electric Drive Transportation Association Adds Pepco Holdings

WASHINGTON--June 30, 2011: Pepco Holdings, Inc. (PHI) has joined the Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA). PHI’s membership in EDTA provides access to a diverse representation of vehicle and equipment manufacturers, energy providers, component suppliers and end users.

Through the EDTA, PHI will work with fellow members to overcome the numerous challenges involved with installing vehicle charging stations and will remain committed to partnering with the major players in the advancement of electric vehicles and the nation’s electrical infrastructure.

EDTA is a trade association representing battery, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and fuel cell electric drive technologies and infrastructure. EDTA conducts public policy advocacy, education, industry networking, and international conferences.
