Detroit-Area GGT Electric Wins "Best of Show" at the Michigan Electric Vehicle Show

DETROIT--June 20, 2011: On June 11th, GGT Electric won THREE major awards at the Michigan Electric Vehicle Show and Rally. The show is THE biggest electric vehicle show in the Midwest.

GGT Electric’s new all-electric, zero-emission 2011 Scout Electric Pickup Truck won best four-wheel production electric vehicle, most creative electric vehicle, and the coveted BEST OF SHOW award. And we were facing stiff competition from the Chevy Volt, the Toyota Prius, and several other hybrid/EV start-ups.

GGT Electric has been selling more and more vehicles to help American institutions green their fleets recently with our customers including the state of South Carolina, U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM), the U.S. Veterans Administration, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Grand Canyon National Park, the University of Memphis, and the U.S. Forestry Service, to name a few.
