Renault Resurgent, As Sales Grow 45.5% Year-To-Date
VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA – June 3, 2011: Renault continues its resurgence in Australia, posting 316 new vehicle sales in May 2011, according to VFACTS figures released today. This equates to a substantial growth of 45.5% year-to-date and a magnificent 247.3% increase over May, 2010.
Renault has seen an increase of 52% over April, 2011 stimulated in part by the introduction of Renault Financial Services and the unbeatable 1.9% finance on passenger vehicles and 3.9%^ finance on commercial vehicles. In addition, Renault introduced a class-leading 5 year/unlimited kilometre warranty on all new passenger vehicles sold after April 1st, which has led to dealer enquires improving by 50% on the yearly average.
The Renault Mégane has been the star performer in May with 167 sales; comprising 106 sporty Mégane hatches, 10 stylish Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet and 51 of the spectacular Mégane R.S. 250.
