May 31, 2011: EPA & Partners to Unveil New Fuel Economy Labels. New labels to help consumers buy least polluting, most fuel-efficient cars
WHAT: EPA, joined by Delaware state and local partners, will unveil the next generation of fuel economy labels for 2013 model year cars. The new labels are unprecedented in that they will tell drivers how much money they will save on fuel costs compared to an average vehicle, and for the first time ever let buyers know quickly how a vehicle rates for fuel economy and carbon pollution.
