LOS ANGELES – May 3, 2011: If there’s been one obvious lesson to be learned since the beginning of the public Internet in 1994-5, it’s that there is no shortage of investment funds available to finance preposterous automotive pricing and data websites.
The automotive industry is so huge and lucrative that all any snake-oil salesman need do is announce some new do-hickey gimmick that facilitates something related to the car and truck buying process and the money flood gates open wide. It doesn’t matter if sales are up or down or virtually non-existent, if the new ramifrancer can perambulate the oralcropter of the macinknowler, then it must be something good.
And consequently, with the carmakers being so intent on trying to finds ways to get a jump up on the competition that when one of these so-called “more true” automotive sites starts handing out inane citations, the PR departments at the car companies are thrilled to be able to announce that that have been the latest recipient of the “Car Bunkle” award, even though the award is based on nothing and presided over by guys who know nothing.
So, it is with these insatiable sucker investor-mentality and faux-award appetites in mind that Peterson Automotive Publications of Irvine, California will be launching their new website, Schmuck-Data.com, on July 4, 2011.
“We chose July 4th,” said company CEO Bernald Humerdunger, “because we think it is a symbolic start for our online services. Basically, it is ‘free your investment money from sensibility day.”
For additional information, please keep trying www.schmuck-data.com until the site goes live. A satisfactory result in reaching the website will be about as satisfying as investing in and participating in any of the other more-true direct car websites.
