Renault Electric Vehicle Test Drives in Bucharest

BOULOGNE-BILLANCOURT, FRANCE – May 2, 2011: The Z.E. roadshow presenting Fluence Z.E. and Kangoo Express Z.E., which began on July 7, 2010 and is scheduled to end in late 2011, has thus far visited 16 European countries. The latest stop-off was Bucharest, Romania, from April 18 to 22.

The media, opinion leaders and Renault partners got to test drive in real-life conditions two zero-emission models, Fluence Z.E. and Kangoo Express Z.E. Fabrice Cambolive, Managing Director of Renault Nissan Romania, presented the vehicles to Laszlo Boberly, Romania’s environment minister. These high-profile events enable Renault to reiterate its environmental commitment and demonstrate its ambition to become a leader in electric vehicles.

Renault is the world’s first carmaker to propose a complete range of full-electric vehicles accessible to all. Model launches begin in fall 2011.
