DARLINGTON, April 22, 2011: 3 Amigos Tequila has been named “The Official Tequila” of Darlington Raceway, raceway officials announced today.

3 Amigos Tequila was founded by Arizona resident Santiago Gonzalez and his family in 2007. The product is made from agave grown at his family's farm in Mexico. The tequila is distilled and bottled in Mexico before being brought to the United States for distribution.

“Like Darlington Raceway, 3 Amigos Tequila is all about good times and fun,” said Darlington Raceway President Chris Browning. “We look forward to a long partnership with the 3 Amigos Tequila brand.”

J. Smoke Wallin, Chairman & CEO of Pelican Brands and The Paddington Corporation – the global brand manager for 3 Amigos tequila said, “After sponsoring two successful Sprint Cup weekends in Phoenix, one at the Auto Club in Fontana, CA and last weekend at Talladega with the 3 Amigos Tequila 250 @Talladega, we are very excited to announce the expansion of our relationship with ISC and our newest partnership with the legendary Darlington Raceway and NASCAR. After experiencing Talladega, we know that southern NASCAR fans are like no other! We can’t wait to meet the Darlington fans and to introduce them to tequila 3 Amigos.”
