EPSOM, UNITED KINGDOM – April 15, 2011: Aygo Ice is the cool choice for city car customers this spring, a new version of Toyota’s stylish entry model that comes handsomely equipped for style and comfort.

A new feature model for the Aygo range, it goes beyond the specification of Aygo+ with air conditioning, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and gear knob and leather and Alcantara seat trim all provided as standard. Other features include a six-speaker audio system, electric windows and colour-matched door mirrors.

The price tag also takes in a choice of three metallic paint finishes: Dark Forest, Vermillion Red and Crystal Silver. Side protection mouldings are also provided to guard against the rough and tumble of city motoring. All this comes at just an extra £655 compared to the equivalent Aygo+, reinforcing the built-in value customers can enjoy.

Both three and five-door versions of Aygo Ice are available, all powered by Toyota’s multi-Engine of the Year Award-winning 1.0-litre VVT-i petrol powerplant, with a choice of manual or Multimode transmissions.

On-the-road prices start at £9,750, which is just the start of Aygo Ice’s formidable cost of ownership profile. With official fuel consumption of 61.4mpg (combined cycle), Band B road tax (VED) classification and a 3E insurance group rating, the new model delivers lasting value for money.
