Yokohama to Give Away $5,000 Worth of 101ZL Tires and iPads at Mid-America Trucking Show

FULLERTON, March 28, 2011: Yokohama Tire Corporation is giving away 101ZL™ premium steer tires and iPads each day at the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) in Louisville, Kentucky, March 31-April 2. “All MATS attendees have to do is stop at our booth (14124) and register to win,” said Rick Phillips, Yokohama director of commercial sales. “It’s that easy and the prizes are notable.”

Three pairs of 101ZL tires (including free installation and valve stems at the Yokohama dealer of their choice) and three iPads will be given away during the show’s run, worth an estimated $5,000. “We gave away tires last year to one lucky attendee, and it was so popular, we decided to expand on it,” said Phillips. “There will be three tire winners and three iPad winners named during the show.”

The 101ZL, on the EPA’s SmartWay list of low rolling resistance tires, is available in four sizes (295/75R22.5, 11R22.5, 11R24.5 and 285/75R24.5). The premium steer tire is designed for long-haul operations and features enhanced durability, excellent longevity and outstanding fuel efficiency, according to Phillips. “It’s ideal for fleet owners and truck operators. The tires last longer and help preserve the environment via the fuel saved.”
