Asbury Automotive Group Announces Close of its Heavy Truck Business Sale

DULUTH, GA--March 15, 2011: Asbury Automotive Group, Inc. , one of the largest automotive retail and service companies in the U.S., today announced the close of the sale of its International, Hino, Isuzu, UD, IC Bus and Workhorse franchises to Rush Truck Centers of Georgia, Inc, a subsidiary of Rush Enterprises, Inc. . In addition, Asbury also announced the close of the sale of its Peterbilt franchise, which includes the dealership in Kennesaw, Georgia, to Peterbilt Motors Company, a subsidiary of PACCAR Inc. . With the closing of these two transactions, Asbury has fully exited all of its heavy truck operations.
