SAE Foundation Accepting Nominations for Its Young Industry Leadership Award
DETROIT--March 2, 2011: The SAE Foundation will honor some of the top young engineers during its annual banquet with the Young Industry Leadership Award. The banquet will be held May 12, 2011, at The Fillmore Detroit.
Established in 2006 and formerly known as the Young Manufacturing Leadership Award, The Young Industry Leadership Award promotes careers in the engineering community by recognizing young men and women, ages 35 and under, who have significant accomplishments and who show potential for significant leadership growth in industry.
These individuals must have:
- Proven accomplishments in their career;
- Shown promise and possess leadership ability;
- Received recognition from their employer or organization; and
- Demonstrated commitment to the community, professional societies and/or STEM Education (science, technology, engineering and math)
The SAE Foundation is seeking nominations for the award. The deadline for nominations is March 31, 2011.
