Midtronics CEO Steve McShane Inducted into Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame

WILLOWBROOK, II-- March 1, 2011: Steve McShane, founder and CEO of Midtronics, Inc., was recently inducted into the Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame. The Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago chose McShane as a member of the 2011 Hall of Fame class in recognition of his entrepreneurial achievements and lasting impact on Chicago's business landscape.

McShane founded Midtronics in 1984 with the introduction of innovative conductance testing technology to the automotive market. Now a worldwide leader in battery management solutions for the transportation and stationary battery markets, Midtronics has since developed advanced technologies for alternator and electrical system diagnostics that are recognized globally as standards for servicing these systems.

"It was a great honor to be inducted into the Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame," McShane said.
