Alltech to Cut Ribbon on $200 Million Winchester Algae Facility

WINCHESTER, KY - February 21, 2011: Alltech will officially cut the ribbon Wednesday on its $200 million algae facility in Winchester, one of the largest algae production sites in the world. The event is scheduled to take place at 2PM EST, at 605 Rolling Hills Lane, Winchester, KY.

Event participants will include Dr. Pearse Lyons, president and founder of Alltech; Secretary Larry Hayes, Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development; Mayor Ed Burtner, Winchester; and Judge Executive Henry Branham, Clark County.

Tours of the facility will be available immediately following the press conference. A celebratory reception will commence following the tours.
