BTCC - 2011 BTCC Timetables Issued

Provisional timetables for 2011’s Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship race events are now available to download from btcc.net.

This means fans have ample time to plan their travel arrangements around events.

Each timetable can be found in the circuit profiles within the btcc.net website’s Calendar section BTCC Racedates

A minimum nine races – including three races from the bill-topping BTCC – are guaranteed on Sundays at each of the season’s ten events. Notably, rounds three, four and five at Thruxton, Oulton Park and Croft include a BTCC drivers' parade around the circuit in front of the race day crowds.

This year's championship will feature at nine different venues in eight different counties spanning the length and breadth of the UK and will come to a head on Silverstone's short, high-speed, thrill-a-minute National circuit in mid-October.

Here’s a brief glance at each race day (Sunday), some of which begin with the ever-popular Pit Lane Walkabout.

Rd3, Thruxton, ten races, starts 09.45am with pit lane walkabout (inc. lunchtime drivers’ parade); racing starts 10.45am with Ginetta GT Supercup
Rd4, Oulton Park, nine races, starts 10.35am with pit lane walkabout (followed by drivers' parade); racing starts 12.15pm with BTCC
Rd5, Croft, nine race, starts 10.20am with pit lane walkabout (followed by drivers’ parade); racing starts at 12.10pm with BTCC
Rd6, Snetterton, 11 races, starts 09.10am with Porsche Carrera Cup
