Johnson Controls created a 50% weight reduction while enhancing storage opportunities and improving base audio performance. The solution integrates lightweight compression formed components by Johnson Controls with the digital processing technology through an exclusive relationship with Bongiovi Acoustics. The technology allows the trim panel to radiate the sound pressure becoming the speaker. The patented groundbreaking processor is encoded on a computer chip and is custom-tuned to maximize performance for your specific vehicle platform. By eliminating the need to package speakers in the doors, design options for increasing and optimizing storage are created.

Wireless Charging
Our wireless energy transfer technology for automatic self-charging electronic devices is an efficient and convenient charging option. It enables simpler handling and safer driving by eliminating the need for plugging or cording. The technology is integrated as mid-cycle enhancement.

Interior Integration
Johnson Controls provides integrated interiors that enhance quality, performance and visual appeal throughout the vehicle. Door panels, instrument panel, floor console and second-row armrest use complementary components such as decorative elements, lighting and leather applications.
