Source Interlink Media Announces Executive Changes for 2011
BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. January 6, 2011; Source Interlink Media, LLC. (SIM), one of the largest publishers of multi-media content for enthusiast audiences around the world, announced today four strategic executive appointments within the company.
Effective immediately, these promotions concern several publishing groups within the organization and the executive leadership of SIM, each of which are aimed at reinforcing and further positioning SIM as the premier publisher of enthusiast and special interest media in the United States.
- Doug Evans has been appointed Executive Vice President and Group Publisher of the Enthusiast Automotive Business. As Executive Vice President and Group Publisher, Evans will oversee the Street Performance, Rod & Restoration, Truck & Offroad and Motorcycle Groups.
- Ira Gabriel has been named Executive Vice President of the Consumer Media Group. Gabriel will maintain his general management responsibilities of the Motor Trend Automotive Group (MTAG) and will also assume executive responsibility for the Soaps Group.
- Brad Gerber will assume the role of Executive Vice President Sales & Chief Marketing Officer. Gerber will continue managing all sales functions and maintain oversight of digital advertising operations, while placing additional focus on SIM's integrated marketing strategy.
- Howard Lim has been named Senior Vice President of New Product Development. Lim will maintain Group Publisher responsibilities for the International Automotive Group, in addition to his latest role of managing SIM's new product strategy.
