Mercedes-Benz Sydney - Emerald City

MULGRAVE, AUSTRALIA – December 15, 2010: Mercedes-Benz Sydney has purchased 26 photographs from the Emerald City collection of Sydney-based photographer Paul Sleeman. The selection features iconic Sydney architecture together with vignettes of significant Sydney locales, ranging from Vaucluse to the Northern Beaches.

The photographic images, printed on archival art paper, are framed by Charles Hewitt and form part of limited editions of ten.

A selection of images from the Emerald City collection were included in Paul’s book, Paul Anthony Sleeman: Decade 2001 to 2010, published in New York and launched in May, 2010.

Paul has an international following, particularly in the USA. His architectural images are in the possession of President Bill Clinton, Joel Klein Chancellor of New York Education and also featured in the collection of the late Joern Utzon. They are included in major corporate collections including The American Club, which features nine images from his Gotham series on permanent display.

Paul is a member of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) and the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers (AIPP) and divides his time between Sydney and New York.
