Chrysler Australia Smashes Sales Records for 2010

SYDNEY – December 6, 2010: Chrysler Australia is charging confidently towards the 2010 finish line, reporting incredible November sales of 1139 units across the three brands, with a significant 30% increase compared to November 2009.

The Chrysler brand was a huge contributor for the month increasing 158%, with 300C and Sebring Cabrio practically flying out the door. Sales of these two models were up by 260% and 730% respectively compared to November 2009.

The legendary Jeep brand was up an awesome 51% year-to-date, with the iconic Jeep Wrangler continuing to lead Jeep sales. This was followed by the versatile Cherokee recording a remarkable 147% jump in sales for the month of November and Grand Cherokee increased by 17% compared to 2009.

Last but certainly not least, the Dodge brand continues to grow in popularity with a 22% jump on last year across all models. The Journey in particular had a very solid month, recording an 86% sales increase, meanwhile the distinctive Nitro was up 13%.
