LAVERTON, AUSTRALIA – November 24, 2010: Suzuki has added more safety and value to its award-winning Alto range.

General Manager Tony Devers today announced the entry level Alto GL would now come standard with Electronic Stability Program (ESP).

“Unlike some of our competitors, we have included the potentially life-saving technology at no extra charge to customers.

“At just $12,490 driveaway for the five-speed manual, there is no car that matches the Alto’s combination of four-star safety – including six airbags – and value.

“Customers who prefer not to change gears themselves can drive away with the Alto GL four-speed automatic for just $13,990.

“With this upgrade Suzuki is once again redefining the term ‘value for money’

“With a fuel economy of just 4.7 litres per 100 kilometres, Alto has always been one of the cleanest cars on the planet. Now with the addition of ESP as standard across the range it’s also one of the safest.

Alto GL now comes standard with ESP, ABS, six airbags, tacho, body-colored door handles and external mirrors and driver’s seat height adjust.

The GLX adds alloy wheels and fog lamps and maintains its $12,990 driveaway price tag for the five-speed manual and $14,490 for the four-speed automatic version.
