Luxgen Accomplished First Step Of International Expansion And Officially Established Its Brand In Dominican Rebuplic

XINDIAN CITY, TAIWAN – November 18, 2010: A milestone has been reached by Taiwan’s automobile brand, LUXGEN, following a year of preparation and planning since its first debut in the 10th Dubai International Motor Show in 2009, Luxgen officially established its brand in Dominican Republic on November 16, 2010 with the support from its Dominican distributor partner, Motoplex.

The brand has been established for nearly one year only in Taiwan, and yet, has reached the top six of automobile brands with the exceeding sales performance. With its outstanding performance as the solid base for its international expansion campaign, Luxgen is about to bring the revolutionary intelligent automobile trends to the global markets. And Dominican Republic is the first step of its progressive international marketing plan, which, is not only an important move for Luxgen but also a new record for Taiwan’s automobile industries.

The Luxgen brand from Taiwan was established to create a new generation of forward thinking and environmentally sustainable intelligent vehicles with the merge of highly advanced auto and information technology. Luxgen vehicles are programmed to ‘Think Ahead’ for their consumers, with Smart technology designed by Taiwanese mobile manufactory HTC to preempt road conditions and potential hazards. Luxgen vehicles feature a state-of-the-art onboard computer system, dubbed “Think+,” which, for the first time ever combines the HTC smart technology. With the sophisticated onboard programme designed to “Think Ahead” for drivers, Luxgen is leading a new level of road safety and driving experience in Dominican Republic.

The new Luxgen showroom in Santo Domingo is designed with the international CI guidelines from original Taiwan, which is set with the aura of intelligent and hi-tech. And the launch event on Nov. 16 was held at the new showroom to mark this breakthrough progress of Lxugen. To show the strong determination of Luxgen to dedicate into the Central America market and the solid support from original Taiwan, Mr. KC Hu, CEO of Luxgen, also attended the launch event.

The promising brand had received high expectations in the country, and the Catholic Pope also participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony and prayed for the best of Luxgen. Many celebrities and representatives from authorities, such as the Ambassadors in Dominican Republic from various countries, also attended the launch event to express their blessings to the newly introduced brand and models. During the event, the cutting-edge virtual interactive showroom design had impressed the guests a lot, and not surprisingly, the esteemed guests all showed high recognition of the intelligent technology vehicles and the competitive intelligent technology design capabilities from Taiwan. And Luxgen7 SUV was earning high praise from the attendants as the most outstanding new model in the automobile market of Dominican Republic.

The Taiwanese societies in the Dominican Republic had also presented their high supportive admirations, as the Ambassador of the Republic of China in Dominican Republic, Mr. Tsai, Meng-hung, participated in the whole event and made a speech to show his strong support on the introduction of Luxgen in the Central America. With the blessings and strong support from all the networks, the event on Nov. 16 had attracted more than 300 guests to participate, and many of them ordered the new car during the event. With this positive new start, LUXGEN is confident to have a promising market performance in Dominican Republic.

Currently Luxgen is targeting the emerging markets around the world including the Central America, Middle East, Russia, China and South East Asia.
