LOS ANGELES, November 17, 2010: Kids of all ages will discover fun at Chevrolet's exhibit at the Greater Los Angeles Auto Show, including a giveaway of limited edition Hot Wheels Camaro Convertible model cars. Chevy will offer free Hot Wheels Camaro Convertibles each day of the show, which runs from Nov. 19-28 at the LA Convention Center.

El Segundo-based Hot Wheels created the collectible Camaro Convertible especially for LA Auto Show visitors, celebrating the world premiere of the 2011 Camaro Convertible. Giveaways of the Hot Wheels Camaro Convertible will occur periodically throughout each day, and visitors should check with the representatives in the exhibit for details Supplies are limited.

"Camaro and Hot Wheels are a natural fit, bringing smiles to the faces of car enthusiasts of all ages," said Chris Perry, vice president of Chevrolet marketing. "With the real Camaro Convertible making its debut in Los Angeles, Hot Wheels and Chevrolet will let thousands of Southern Californians take home a pocket-sized Camaro."

In addition to the exclusive Hot Wheels giveaway, Chevrolet will feature several interactive and high-tech activities for show goers.  The exhibit will include the chance for gamers to play Kinect Joyride, featuring the all-new Chevy Volt on the new Kinect gaming system for Xbox 360. Kinect uses motion-sensing technology that responds to body movements and gestures, eliminating the need for a hand-held controller. The Volt is Chevrolet's breakthrough extended-range electric vehicle, which goes on sale in Los Angeles this month.

The Chevy exhibit will also feature the Camaro Convertible in a high-tech digital photo booth, where visitors can get a motion-capture image of themselves interacting with the car, and immediately upload it to social networks like Facebook and Twitter.

The Camaro Convertible will arrive in Chevrolet showrooms in February 2011.
