SunPods to Participate in the 2010 CleanTech National Awards Gala

SAN JOSE, Calif., November 16, 2010 - SunPods will return to participate as
alumni in the CleantTech National Awards Gala on Wednesday, November 17,
2010 - an event recognized as the "Academy Awards of Cleantech". A fully
assembled, factory-built SunPods solar array will be featured outside of the
event venue to showcase the technology that reduces installation of ground
mount solar installations by up to 90 percent.

The mission of the Cleantech Open is to find, fund, and foster the big ideas
that address today's most urgent energy, environmental, and economic
challenges. Following a valued placement in the 2009 CleanTech Finalists,
renewable energy category, SunPods now participates in the Alumni programs
focused on retaining business momentum. At the 2010 Cleantech Gala, SunPods
will meet with investors to present this year's successes, current market
demand for the SunPods solar solutions, and product roadmap.

"The CleanTech Open is always a high energy event for new innovations in
clean, sustainable technology," said Michael Gumm, co-founder and managing
partner, SunPods. "We look forward to networking with entrepreneurs in the
cleantech space as well as presenting the SunPods success story and plans to
now expand operations in the U.S. and Internationally. It's an excellent
venue to both learn and to give back as a mentor in growing a successful,
cleantech business."

The 2010 Cleantech Open competition offers more than $1 million in total
prizes and aims to create 100,000 green-collar jobs in America by the end of
2015 with its "100K Jobs Challenge." Currently, 22 states participate in the
Cleantech Open program, and over 30 states are expected to contribute
companies to the program in 2011.
