Here is a look at what is happening. ASA SERIES ASA MIDWEST TOUR SUPER LATE MODELS & TRUCK TOUR (La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway, West Salem, WI) The season finale for the two ASA Midwest Tours will be this Sunday at the 41st Annual Oktoberfest Race Weekend. Both have a close, real close, championship battle. Steve Carlson comes into the weekend with a two-point lead over Chris Wimmer in the Super Late Model Series. In the Trucks, Jerry Wood has a one-point lead over his brother John Wood. Oktoberfest runs Thursday through Sunday with 20 different divisions in action with over 1300 laps of racing and over 500 car competing. www.asamidwesttour.com ASA TRUCK SERIES (Havasu 95 Speedway, Lake Havasu City, AZ) The fastest trucks on the west coast will be part of the ASA Member Track's Saturday night program. This will be the second to last event on their 2010 season schedule. www.speedtruck.com ASA MEMBER TRACKS DESOTO SUPER SPEEDWAY (Bradenton, FL) It's Parts Depot night with the Seafest Florida All-Stars Tour Late Models 100. The Super Late Models, TEAM TOO Pony Stocks, Stockcar USA, Budweiser Legends, M.C. Erectors Bandoleros, Ford Focus Midgets, Jr. Focus will be in action. Spectator gates will open at 4 p.m., qualifying will get under way at about 5:15 and the first race is at 7 p.m. Tickets are priced at $10 for general admission and $8 for seniors (60 and older), students 11 to 18 and military personnel with valid identification. Children 10 and under are admitted free. A Family Pack, which includes admission for four plus a hot dog and small soft drink for each person, is priced at $45.
