Stephen Colbert Treats Congress with the Disdain and Lack of Respect it So Richly Deserves

If you missed the video of comedian Stephen Colbert appearing before a Congressional hearing this morning, you must stop whatever you're doing and watch it...again and again. You'll find it at various places on the web.

For some strange reason Colbert, star of a pseudo-news show on the Comedy Central television network was invited to testify before a hearing on illegal immigration. He made the most of his time by making an absolute mockery of the greatest on-going comedy show in America, our national congress. I only wish that the subject matter could have been related to the automotive world. And I wonder if the nitwits sitting up on the dias even understood that they were being ridiculed.

Thanks, Stephen, it was the best ass-kicking of Congress that I've seen since Oliver North's testimony about 25 years ago.

Please demand responsible action by you (our) elected officials. Please make them stop taking bribes from lobbyists.
