Scott Douglas Take the AMSOIL Cup to Miller Electric Open House Kaukauna, WI (September 20, 2010) - After winning the inaugural AMSOIL Cup, Douglas Motorsports brought their championship winning truck to the Miller Electric Open House at their TIG manufacturing facility in Appleton, Wisconsin. Miller Electric has several manufacturing facilities in the Appleton area and every year the company has an Open House allowing the public to take tours of the various facilities and learn more about the company. The partnership between Douglas Motorsports and Miller Electric is an important component to keep the team competing at the highest level. Scott Douglas and his crew chief Jason Schampers, welcomed the opportunity to participate in the annual event to discuss how Miller Electric products assist in the fabrication process during the week at the team's race shop as well during repair and replace processes during the team's race weekends. Along with the #7 AMSOIL Kumho Tire Baileigh Industrial Miller Electric Ford F-150, Scott and Jason set up their transporter andawning for the hundreds of attendees to get a rare inside view of the team's traveling pit support. The first public display of the AMSOIL Cup was also definite attention getter throughout the day. Next up on the Douglas Motorsports World Tour is September 25 as the team travels to the headquarters of AMSOIL in Superior, Wisconsin for the company's annual dealer meeting.
